Desperate housewife Longoria for Obama

Eva Longoria, one of the stars of ABC’s Desperate Housewives, this week urged Hispanic women to vote and support Democrat Barack Obama for president.

“We need to get everyone registered to vote, and I can’t emphasize that enough,” Longoria said, at a press conference with Rep. Hilda Solis, a California Democrat.

Solis said: “We need a fighter like Barack Obama. We need to have someone in the White House that will fight for us to provide good medical coverage, will advocate protecting a woman’s right to choose, and help us push crucial women’s rights legislation through Congress.”

She also said that Obama is the son of immigrants, like many Hispanics and Latinos and “shares many values with the Latino community.”

Longoria, who previously supported Sen. Hillary Clinton, also commented on Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska.

“I’m very confused by the women who have turned their support to Palin because Hillary did not get on the ticket. Palin, for me, represents everything Hillary is not. I don’t know how a woman can support someone who does not support equal pay for women, or the right to choose,” Longoria said.

Anyone that easily confused and out of touch with American citizens is unfit to be considered a reliable spokesmouth for Americans.

Perhaps in the narrow-minded world of liberal dimbulbs, Ms Longoria unity of thought is desirable. In the free-world independence of mind is considered a good trait and the right of personal choice is just that, free choice. Among those who claim the title of “pro choice” it’s in fact that abortion is the only acceptable choice and that’s pathetically despicable.

Palin supports everything Hillary did not………. Good for Palin. Palin represents the ordinary US Citizens and understands the average family. Hillary wanted socialized medicine where she could pick and choose who gets treated and who does not yet everybody pays. Hillary wanted way way too much control and that is a dictatorship and not a democracy. She changed her platform as often as she changed her underwear. Same goes for Obama. What does he really represent? He says what feels good at the time and never sticks to his “plan”. Obama is just a speaker. He has no backbone.

Why do we care? Why do Americans let brainless “starts” decide our future and our political preferences? She also doesn’t care what the illegal immigration is doing to us so why do we listen to this anyway?
