Latino groups pledge to register 500,000 voters
A coalition of immigrant advocates and Latino groups announced a plan Thursday to register 500,000 Latino, Asian and immigrant voters in 13 states, including Florida and Texas.
The group — the We Are America Alliance — also said it would make sure 1 million make it to the polls.
Holli Holliday (cq), executive director of the group, said that the registration effort targets the “most disenfranchised sections” of the electorate including recently naturalized citizens.
Arturo Vargas, executive director of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO), said that the ultimate goal is for 10 million Latinos and immigrants to vote in November.
The We Are America Alliance is also mobilizing to make sure that immigrants and others are allowed to vote, Vargas said.
NALEO is recruiting “a battalion of attorneys” to be on hand on election day to assist any immigrant voters that are having difficulty at the polls, he said.

Everybody wants to see all American Citizens including Immigrants guaranteed access to voting as provided for in our US Constitution. All American Citizens including Immigrants demand that our US Constitution be honored & no illegal activities be allowed, with no group given special privileges to violate our nations laws & sovereignty.
What effort will “NALEO” & “WAAA” honor all of our laws during their “voter registration drive?” Are those groups willing to certify that no Illegal Aliens will be registered? Illegal Aliens aren’t guaranteed the right to vote by our US Constitution. Americans don’t want our sacred right to vote disgraced by allowing voter fraud by any group, groups, or anti-American political extremists.
Are we going to have to personally guard against massive voter fraud by Illegal Aliens by personally monitoring our local polling places? Perhaps we can all invite ICE Agents to join us guarding our voting booths against an invasion of Illegals Aliens voting illegally.

“A battalion” of volunteer American Patriots will be on hand to assist ICE in assuring that there wont be Illegal Aliens steeling our sacred right to vote from American Citizens.
“Illegals commit rampant voter fraud throughout the U.S.”
[‘Illegal aliens and immigrants with green cards are committing rampant voter fraud in the United States. Reports of ineligible persons registering to vote have raised concerns about how states verify voter lists using the voter’s age, US citizenship, mental competence, and felon status.
Some states, for instance, fail to do any more than ask on their application forms if the registrant is a US citizen. The applicant checks off the “Yes” box, but there is no action to verify the authenticity of that answer. Other states merely ask for a utility bill or a driver’s license, neither of which prove citizenship.
Federal data sources have the potential to help state election officials identify registrants who may be convicted felons or non-citizens, but few states communicate with federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security’s immigration section.
“Thousands of non-citizens are registered to vote in some states, and tens if not hundreds of thousands in total may be present on the voter rolls nationwide,” said Hans A. von Spakovsky, a researcher at the Heritage Foundation.
“To keep non-citizens from diluting citizens’ votes, immigration and election officials must cooperate far more effectively than they have to date, and state and federal officials must increase their efforts to enforce the laws against non-citizen voting that are already on the books,” he added.’]
