Hispanic lawmakers lash out at Democratic leaders

Democratic Hispanic lawmakers lashed out at their own party Wednesday for planning hearings on immigration enforcement legislation and “piecemeal” visa reform measures while ignoring broader reforms.

Rep. Luis Gutierrez of Illinois, a leader on immigration issues, said that Democrats were “no better than the Republican majority” if they didn’t offer a solution for all immigrants, including those in the United States illegally.

He said that millions of immigrants and their supporters didn’t stage giant marches in 2006 “for a handful of visas.”

The lawmakers said that the House is planning to schedule hearings on an enforcement bill known as the SAVE Act, and on efforts to increase caps for specialized visas for seasonal workers and high-tech employees.

The SAVE Act would increase the Border Patrol by 8,000, train more state and local police to enforce immigration law, and require that all businesses, within four years, use a government program to verify the legal status of their employees.

Most of the House members pushing the SAVE Act are Republicans, however the author of the legislation is a Democrat, Rep. Heath Shuler of North Carolina.

Rep. Joe Baca of California, chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, said that the immigration measures being considered by the House were “nothing more than a band-aid being used to cover up a gaping wound.”

Rep. Raul Grijalva of Arizona, said that Democrats were being “spineless” and that he felt disrespected.

“We have been good Democratic foot soldiers,” he said.

This is a document that should disturb you, because the globalist open border, free traders do not want you to see it. This is an thoroughly researched analysis of immigration costs, that the hierarchy of the U.S. government and special interests groups do not want you to read.

Yes, we need CIR Bill, so we should get over this hurdle for now and ever. All has to go together, thats why we are having so much problems, lawsuits. We need to secure our borders alongwith the passage of legal status for the people who are already here and living in this country for the decades. They already are in this system and are working. We need to bring them out on the books and this will boost our economy so much. They’ll buy cars, ins. houses, everything to settle here. They are earning here already. Then we need to decide if we need any additional foreign workers to take good jobs which American’s are fighting for. We should be smart and the dems. should pass this bill if they want additional seats in congress and senate. They should learn lesson from 2006 elections. They need to show they have courage to stand for the right thing and will not behave as the old repulicans, who lost all.

….“spineless” and that he felt disrespected. What the?…..

Funny, that’s how I feel when we elevate ILLEGAL latinos so a more priveledged above-our-laws status; especially since they do not care smack about our country….American citizen rights are primary. It kills me that so-called Hispanic Lawmakers have a highly subjective POV and the rest of us can go hang if we don’t like what they deem “rights” for a bunch of squatters! I concur with you completely, Brittanicus!

State immigration legislation is working real well, but Federal laws has more teeth.

Fourteen House Democrats are taking the federal government to court in an effort to halt construction of the security barrier between the United States and Mexico. It turns out that environmental groups such as the Sierra Club and the Defenders of Wildlife are more concerned over displacing a few animals than in protecting our borders from potential terrorists and the unchecked flow of illegal immigrants, and the Democrats are more than happy to help. Right now as we speak thousands a day and crossing our border. Attacking land owners and US border agents. In some places trash is knee deep, discarded and left to rot. Environmentalist gripe about the border fence and their beloved tortoises and lizards, but not a word about the hills of filth and despondent property owners whose homes have been vandalized.

The Democrats led by Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, Arizona Congressman Raul Grijalva, including eight committee chairs filed a brief with the Supreme Court which calls into question the constitutionality of the DHS waivers. Rep. Charles Sensenbrenner was asked today by Lou Dobbs investigative journalist (CNN) cable news, why are the Democrats, using the courts to stop any further construction of the fence. Sensenbrenner said that they are trying to pacify the Mexican government. Not only are thousands of their countryman being repatriated because of new American immigration laws. They said they are having to house and feed them, and they are not getting the massive remittances going back to families that they have welcomed over many years. Lou said their remittances were more than the cost of petroleum from our neighbor.

Democratic Hispanic lawmakers are the puppets of Californias Mayor Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa, along with his city managers and timid lieutenants, not to mention the separatist racist groups including La Raza, MEChA, LULAC, MALDEF, CHIRLA, La Voz de Atzlan, Zapatista Army of National Liberation and Mexicanos Sin Fronteras (Mexicans Without Borders). Not to forget the corporate machine, big religion, the ACLU, Southern Poverty league. Many of these organizations are run by Marxist, Communist and just pure Anti-American zealots. The illegal invasion can only be understood by the corrupting influence on politicians of money for cheap labor for the Republicans or the Welfare votes for the Democrats that makes them dishonor their Oath of Office, the US Constitution against Invasion, and Enforcement of our Immigration Laws!

Democrats need to think of the massive cost on taxpayers, not that all Republicans are without blame. Many of our politicians are in bed with the special interest groups.

Mr. Rubenstein, a former director of research at the Hudson Institute, a nonpartisan policy research organization, said U.S. taxpayers paid more than $9,000 for each immigrant in the country, a third of whom are believed to be in the U.S. illegally.

In addition, more than 37 million immigrants in the United States, both legal and illegal, cost the federal government more than $346 billion last year, twice as much as the nation’s fiscal deficit, according to a report released yesterday. The loss estimates, the report said, included $100 billion in federal taxes lost “from the reduction of native incomes caused by immigrant workers.” He also stated that even programs that are not usually associated with immigration, he said, have actually added financial burdens to the taxpayers.

In California Assemblywoman Mimi Walters, a Republican from Oceanside, said illegal immigrants cost California taxpayers an estimated $9 billion each year.

Each and every voter have a substantial interest in the progression and success of constructing the border fence. It will slow the movement of smuggled drugs into our country, restrain millions of illegal aliens many being convicted felons.

All patriot Americans no matter their political affiliation should DEMAND YOUR BORDER FENCE IS COMPLETED! In addition Demand your Democratic representative co-author the SAVE ACT. Go to NUMBERSUSA to read the raw facts.

Keep calling your Congressmen today to co-author THE SAVE ACT! KEEP CONSTRUCTING THE FENCE! Toll free numbers include 18778516437 and 18662200044, or 12022243121 AND REGISTER YOUR OUTRAGE at ongoing efforts to keep our country from enforcing its immigration laws!

ENFORCEMENT IS WORKING BETTER THAN EXPECTED!!

As reported in the World Net Daily and other papers around the world. A very in depth article appears on the BBC site. It’s embarrassing that the US media is so biased in it’s reporting. Most of the time you getter better researched and unbiased reporting from foriegn sources.

‘Unemployment rates are rising across the United States, except Oklahoma. That state is experiencing the most dramatic reduction in unemployment since 2007, an improvement many in Oklahoma attribute to the passage last year by the state legislature of a strong employment-focused immigration reform law.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday reported unemployment in Oklahoma had fallen to 3.1 percent in March, down from 4 percent in March last year, while unemployment nationwide was 5.1 percent, up from 4.4 percent in March last year.

“Oklahoma is no longer ‘OK’ for illegal aliens,” said State Rep. Randy Terrill, who sponsored House Bill 1804 which passed by overwhelming majorities last year in both the House (84-14) and Senate (41-6) of the Oklahoma Legislature.

“The bottom line is illegal aliens will not come here if there are no jobs waiting for them,” Terrill said. “They will not stay here if there is no government subsidy, and they certainly won’t stay here if they know that if they ever encounter our state and local law enforcement officers, they will be physically detained until they are deported.”’

I enourage you to read the entire article. I apologize but the space was not available to post it,

Why is it up to us to “safe” the illegal immigrants? The law should be the law. No one else from any other country expects us to give them everything while they blatantly break our laws?

It’s pathetic that anyone would brag about being “good foot soldiers” of a political party that has drawn its strength from klansmen. In the 19th & 20th century’s it was the Ku Klux Klan that strengthened & supported the DemocRat Party of Slavery. Now, here in the 21st century it’s LaRaza, MEChA & their Tan Klan driving “the New Age DemocRat Party of Economic Slavery.”

Nebraska Attorney General punished by feds for refusing to represent illegals
Link - http://bordercontrol.blogspot.com/

The federal government is holding back federal funding for a Nebraska public commission in order to punish the state’s attorney general for refusing to use taxpayer dollars to file lawsuits for illegal aliens . Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning would not pursue cases on behalf of illegal immigrants. As a result, the state’s Equal Opportunity Commission lost $240,000 in annual federal funding.

The commission’s head insisted that the state’s top prosecutor pursue a discrimination case on behalf of an illegal immigrant couple that was asked by a landlord for drivers’ licenses. Non-Hispanic tenants did not have to provide licenses therefore the commission determined that the illegal aliens were victims of discrimination.

The Attorney General refused to take legal action representing illegals in the case, stating that the 1996 federal welfare reform law prohibits him from providing legal services to illegal immigrants. “I’m not going to use taxpayer dollars to file lawsuits for illegal aliens,” he confirmed, adding that those who are not citizens of this country are not going to get a free lawyer from his office.

Bruning’s stance caused outrage among immigrant advocates, who are planning a lawsuit. The director of a renowned radical Chicano group (National Council of La Raza) that advocates the return of the American Southwest to Mexico, says Bruning is allowing people to “run wild over immigrants.”

Diplomats, lawmakers protest Mexican brutality toward Central American immigrants
Link - http://bordercontrol.blogspot.com/

On May 1, Mexican immigrants led rallies across the U.S. seeking amnesty for illegal aliens. At the same time, demands for immigrant rights are festering in Mexico, which is facing increasing international criticism for how it treats Latin American migrants.

Last month, diplomats from El Salvador and Honduras formally protested after dozens of their citizens accused Mexican authorities of brutality. The top UN advocate for migrant rights toured Mexico and proclaimed that “the impunity with which Mexico victimizes Central American immigrants makes it the principal violator of human rights on the American continent.”

At the same time, Mexican President Felipe Calderon, at a summit in New Orleans, was eloquently defending the contributions Mexican immigrants make to the U.S. economy. He didn’t mention the Central American immigrants.

In addition to the UN condemnation, Calderon recently caught flak from lawmakers upset at Mexico’s lobbying for a bill that would legalize many of the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants.

“Mexico expends enormous resources to prevent Guatemalans, Hondurans and Salvadorans from entering Mexico country illegally, but you castigate the United States for wanting secure borders. Mr. President, in my neighborhood that is called hypocrisy,” Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo.), wrote in an open letter to Calderon.
