Mitt Romney, Hillary Clinton lead in Hispanic outreach
Sen. Hillary Clinton and former Gov. Mitt Romney each lead their opponents when it comes to the depth and strength of their Hispanic voter outreach efforts, according to La Politica, a new Web site dedicated to Hispanic voters.
Clinton and Romney both have competent Spanish-language sections on their Web sites, aggressive Hispanic media relations efforts, and employ some heavy-duty Hispanic staff or strategists, the article says.
In addition, they both work with high-profile Latino surrogates. In Clinton’s case, that includes “a slew of elected officials and high-profile Latino activists.”
