Pre-press conference cacophony
In the few minutes before President Bush enters the room for a press conference, the networks’ White House correspondents go live to give viewers a preview of what the president might say.
Often, these previews are offered simultaneously. Looks good on TV, but can bit a bit distracting when you’re in the room. Somehow, however, the TV folks manage to ignore each other and talk only into their own camera.
Take a look at the scene today in the White House Briefing Room.
