Does Bob Dole know something that Bob Dole isn’t telling us?
The ex-Kansas senator, and most recent losing GOP presidential nominee, said today he has not decided who he will back in next year’s race for the White House.
“Not yet,” he said.
Lots of other folks have decided, he was reminded.
“May be another one in there,” Dole responded. “They may not be all in yet.”
And then he disappeared into the West Wing.
Dole and former Health and Human Services Secretary Donna Shalala chatted with reporters today after meeting with President Bush, who put them in charge of a commission reviewing military health care.
